My interests are in search and analytics engines, open source software, and distributed systems. I’m the founder of KASKA, a software company that specializes in tools to help people make better decisions. I have a wife Kate and two Berners Tuukka and Lola. My first lines of code were ASCII games on the TI83 in middle school.
Before Kaska I worked as an Analyst for an investment management firm. I also studied web development at the Turing School of Software & Design, and financial economics and accounting at Western Washington University. Hobbies include skiing, mountain biking, and reading.
