My interests are in search and analytics engines, complex systems, and open source software. I’m a Software Engineer at KITE and the founder of Kaska, a company that specializes in tools to help people make better decisions. I have a wife named Kate and two Berners, Tuukka and Lola. My first lines of code were ASCII games on the TI83 in middle school.
Previously, I modeled risk and researched markets. Although educated in Financial Economics, I have been involved in UX design and web development for almost a decade. My experience with data science and software development provides a unique ability to the people I work with. Hobbies include skiing, mountain biking, and reading.
